Deadline: Nov. 1, 2018
Award: Varies
Scholarship Overview: Open to any student whose birth parents must have both been born outside of the US as non-US citizens, and both parents must not have been eligible for US citizenship at the time of their births, in addition to other criteria.

2. Pulliam Journalism Fellowship
Deadline: Nov. 1, 2018
Award: Up to $6,500
Scholarship Overview: Open to college juniors or seniors enrolled in a journalism or related degree program as of Nov. 1. Applicants must be committed to a career in news journalism, as they will be need to relocate for the summer of 2019.

3. Ron Brown Scholar Program

Award: $40,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to African-American/Black high school seniors who excel academically and demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship.

4. Young Innovators to Watch Scholarship

Scholarship Overview: Open to middle school, high school, and college students. Students may apply alone or in a group. Applicants must develop a project that demonstrates exceptional creativity, user design, technical expertise and scalability.

Award: Up to $6,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to students grades 5-12 who live in the United States. Applicants must demonstrate initiative, Effort, Impact, and Personal Growth related to their experience with community service.

6. Anne Ford Scholarship
Deadline: Nov. 12, 2018
Award: $10,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to graduating high school seniors with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in the fall.

7. Regeneron Science Talent Search

Award: Up to $250,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to any student who is enrolled in and attending his or her last year of secondary school. Applicant must conduct independent science, math or engineering research.

8. Most Valuable Student Competition

Award: Up to $50,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to high school seniors who are citizens of the United States. Applicant must submit completed application and materials to the closest Elks Lodge. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
