Every student deserves the chance to rise, regardless of where they’re born or what their family earns. Not every student has that chance. That’s why we were founded: so that every student has the opportunity to get help with the test that has the biggest impact on their educational future. Our mission is to help students create better futures through unconventionally fun, life-changing learning.
What We Do
SAT Prep Instruction, Testing & Data Analysis, and Curriculum
We provide unconventionally fun test prep classes in low-income communities -- mostly in and beyond Detroit. We teach with passion, purpose, and fun! Not only do we provide our own community SAT prep classes, we partner with schools and community organizations to provide the following services:
SAT Prep Instruction: SAT Masters is our signature SAT prep course that teaches students both the academic skills and the test-taking strategies they need to improve their SAT readiness. Through interactive lessons, students develop improved skills in reading, writing, and math, learn to apply high impact test-taking strategies, and refine their time management through weekly timed drills.
Testing & Data Analysis: We make your student data easy to interpret, relevant to teachers, and actionable. Using the
most up-to-date official SAT tests released by The College Board, students will complete a full length SAT practice test and receive an individual score report so they can review their errors. Educators will receive a detailed report complete with a line-item analysis, skill-based analysis, and error analysis so your team can identify the highest impact skills to target for intervention
SAT Prep Curriculum: Our SAT Masters workbooks are the ultimate workbooks written BY teachers FOR teachers. Designed for maximum engagement with minimal prep, our workbooks promise hassle-free, high-structure SAT lessons that it easy for teachers to prepare their students for success. Featuring an approachable tone, engaging visuals, and interactive games, SAT Masters injects fun into a notoriously boring subject.

The Team
Experienced & Passionate Urban Educators
We’re a small team of urban educators. We come from wildly different backgrounds but share a commitment to teaching with passion, purpose, and fun. We debate esoteric grammar rules, throw GRE parties, have borderline unruly competition in meetings, and share about our lives via GIFs on Slack. We care a lot about what we do, and we laugh and grow together. Our founders have taught ACT and SAT prep and served as college advisors to hundreds of high school students across Detroit.
