1. Paradigm Challenge

Award: Up to $100,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to students aged 7-18. Applicant must work alone or in a team to create an idea that will improve fire safety in homes. Ideas will be judged on effectiveness, feasibility, originality, presentation, and collaboration.

2. WyzAnt Scholarship Contest
Deadline: May 1
Award: $10,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to students that are at least 16 years old and are currently or will be attending a college or university in the U.S. Applicant must write an essay about a person that has inspired them.

3. NURSE Corps Scholarship Program
Deadline: May 5
Award: $1,330 Monthly
Scholarship Overview: Open to residents of the U.S. that are enrolled in or have been accepted into a professional nursing degree program. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need.

4. James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program
Deadline: May 15
Award: Up to 20,000
Scholarship Overview: Applicant must submit an essay of up to 300 words explaining why they feel they would be worth of receiving the scholarship.

5. Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund Scholarships
Deadline: May 15
Award: Up to $10,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to females students meeting the requirements of each scholarship. There are many scholarships with varying eligibility criteria.

6. BDSA Scholarships
Deadline: May 16
Award: Up to $14,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to junior golfers aged 12-18 that demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, leadership, evidence of community service, and golfing ability.

7. Google Science Fair
Deadline: May 18
Award: Up to $50,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to individuals or teams aged 13-18. Applicant must answer the question “how can we make the world better with science.

8. Cameron Impact Scholarship
Deadline: May 27
Award: Up to $50,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to current high school juniors or seniors planning to enroll full-time in a college or university in the U.S. Applicant must demonstrate academic excellence, excel in a variety of extra-curricular activities, demonstrate participation in community service areas, and be motivated leaders.

9. Live Mas Scholarship
Deadline: May 27
Award: Up to $25,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to legal residents of the U.S. that are at least 16 years of age. Applicant must create a video that is 2 minutes or less in length that tells the story of their life’s passion. Film making ability will not be judged.

10. Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest

Award: Up to $10,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to students that are legal residents of the U.S. or Canada that are at least 14 years old or older. Applicants must create prom attire out of Duck Tape® brand duct tape.
