4. Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 6, 2017
Award: $10,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to highly motivated female graduating high school seniors who have a desire to attend a women’s college in either the United States or Canada. Applicant must have at least a 3.7 GPA. There is no citizenship requirement, but student must plan on attending a college in the U.S.

5. Davidson Fellows Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 18, 2017
Award: Up to $50,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to students who are 18 years or younger. Applicant must submit a significant piece of work in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy, or “outside the box.” Program is looking for students whose projects are at, or close to, the college graduate level with a depth of knowledge in their particular area of study.

6. Boren Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 9, 2017
Award: Up to $20,000
Scholarship Overview: Open to U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asian, Central and Eastern Europe, Euasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Scholarship Overview: Open to graduating high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher that have been accepted into an accredited college or university. Applicant must also submit 2 letters of recommendation and complete a short essay.

Award: Up to $12,500 per year
Scholarship Overview: Open to high school seniors that are dependent children of a full-time or former employee in the financial services industry. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

9. NFL Alumni Detroit Student Athlete Scholarships
Deadline: Feb. 24, 2017
Award: $2,500
Scholarship Overview: Open to high school seniors within Wayne County, Michigan. Students must have any of the following: a minimum GPA of 2.0, a score of at least19 on the ACT, or a score of at least 1090 on the new SAT. Applicant must be accepted at an accredited college or university and have participated in varsity level athletics for at least one year.
