This summer, EnACT is piloting a program to help you help your peers. You will be empowered, encouraged, challenged, and transformed as you spend 8 weeks with a team, striving to raise money to establish a scholarship fund for low-income students. As you work to design and implement a fundraising plan of action, you will simultaneously participate in weekly workshops which are focused on making you the best you that you can be: college-ready you, job-interview you, presentation-ready you, ultimate-teammate you, obsessed-with-google-calendar you, open-to-criticism you, and more. Each time a new skill (or new you) is introduced, you will get to immediately apply these skills to your fundraising team: interpersonal skills, team schedule and goal management, etc. Teams will compete to see who can raise the most money. In other words, teams will compete to see who can have the biggest impact on their peers. Top teams will win additional college and life skills workshops, letters of recommendation from program directors, awards, and more. Interested young professionals who are interested in stepping out of their comfort zone in order to serve their community can click here for the application. Deadline for applications is July 7th.
